They Say You Can't Take It With You but you can treat yourself to a lovely vacation home in an ideal location! Located in the Duck Landing subdivision in the heart of Duck Village, this 8 bedroom, 7.5 bath getaway is steps from the beach access and directly next to the community indoor heated pool and outdoor tennis courts.
Can't Take It With You has a back yard set up to be your own private playground with pool-sode Tiki Bar, regulation volleyball and horseshoe courts, as well as a hot tub and private heated* pool with a slide. Walk to the beach during the day and walk out to the shops and restaurants in the Village of Duck in the evenings.
Distance to Beach Access: Only about 190 feet to beach access.
Upper Level - you will find the main living area featuring a 65" SMART LG TV with Bose 5.0 Sound Bar, kitchen and master suite as well as a small office in case need to do some work while you're away.
Loft Level - another floor higher, you'll find one loft area is a master bedroom while the other is a sitting room with built-in seating and gorgeous ocean views.
Mid-Level there are 4 bedrooms each with their own private bathroom and a cozy mid-level den with a sleeper sofa and fire place
Ground Level features two bedrooms on the ground level that share a bathroom and a game room with a pool table, foosball, kitchenette and TV area.

Can't Take It With You - Great Spot
We loved our stay at Can't Take It With You. The location is perfect - close to the beach and walkable to town - and the community amenities are fantastic, especially the pickleball courts. The house is great, too - more than enough room for our crew to hang out together in common areas but also have our own spaces.

Great Place to Stay! Close to the Beach
We had a great stay! Location is perfect. We were able to walk to the shops in Duck and were a stones throw from the beach.
The kitchen/great room/dining table is a great area to congregate. The pool is a bit on the smaller side, but perfect for young(er) kids who want to go down the slide a million times :).
Any small issue we had they were quick to address. It was much appreciated it.

Can't Take It With You
We had a great vacation in Duck. The house was beautiful and felt spacious. The kitchen had double everything which made cooking for a large group easy. The beach was just a few steps away and the pool slide was fun for the kids. We walked into town and enjoyed the restaurants and ice cream shops. Great vacation location and property managers with Great Escapes Rentals are awesome to work with!

Can't Take it With You - Amazing home!
We had 14 people and one small dog June 10-17, 2023. This home is amazing and perfectly located. Easy walk or golf cart ride into main area of Duck with plenty of restaurants (dinner wait times are tough), bars, shopping, convenience stores, etc. Would highly recommend.

Phenomenal home
The remodel came out beautifully - the house is gorgeous! Lots of room for our group of 12. The only warning to future renters is that there’s very little shade near the pool so bring umbrellas or other sources of shade if you have people who enjoy the pool more than the beach.
We made use of the volleyball court - mostly for badminton - horseshoes, and neighboring tennis court. Beach access was very close. And of course we were by the pool constantly. The second floor deck was my favorite hangout - shaded for much of the day with a nice breeze to keep things comfortable. Would definitely return to this phenomenal home.

Fantastic House & Location
Great location and setting for an extended family vacation. We were 12 people (including 3 teenagers) and completely enjoyed the renovated house and outdoor space. So close to the beach, close enough to walk to town for yoga on the green or shopping. Furniture is very nice (not dated or worn) and house was clean and well appointed. Outdoor spaces (multiple shaded decks) had great furniture too. We would go back for sure!

Can't Take It With You
We had a great family vacation staying at Can't Take It With You in Duck. The house has been renovated so everything is new and quite spacious for our two families. The kitchen was great with two refrigerators and two dishwashers. The pool was perfect for our family afternoon get togethers and the slide was so much fun. The location is perfect! Can't beat being so close to the beach and a short walk or bike ride to the village. Thank you for a great vacation week in Duck.

Renovations are nice! Great location
Second year staying in this house. The renovations this year were great. Loved having double sinks, dishwasher, trash, fridge and ovens. It really helped and cooking was spacious. Had every appliance you’d need and plenty of kitchen stuff.
The rooms were nicely done. The bedrooms aren’t as spacious as other houses but big enough. The elevator was nice to not lug your stuff upstairs. Hot tub was great. Slide was fun. The pool could have been clearer but that seemed to be an issue they fixed quickly. Close to the beach and the town of Duck. Could ride my bike to town, could walk easily to the beach and back home for lunch.
Only issue was I booked the property for two weeks but the house wasn’t ready. Found out a few days before and it was a mad scramble to find a new house. It made it annoying to move houses halfway through but Great Escapes figured it out.
Four stars only cause the pool wasn’t ready day 1, the water in the pool wasn’t clear, had some minor mishaps getting my reservation but location was great, renovations were nice, and the new kitchen is awesome.
