- Upper Level is the main living area featuring a TV, Stereo and Electric Fireplace (off season use) and a wall of windows for awesome sunrise views, kitchen with all you will need for vacation eating, Dining area. Also find access to the sleeping loft.
- MidLevel you will find 3 bedrooms each with TVs
- Ground Level features the new bedroom, bathroom, laundry area and access to the pool area.

A Good Find
We did have a couple of separate plumbing problems but they were responsive to fixing them. Also had lightbulb blowout in stairwell to bottom floor which was not convenient as it’s a dark area and there were no replacements on sight. The kitchen definitely needs updated as pots and pans are warped and all mismatched tops. Several utensils were broken so struggled some with cooking. The refrigerator is small for being a place that can hold 12. The outside hose near the pool has no pressure. Just things that would be helpful for future guests. Otherwise the house was spacious and the pool and hot tub were great. We did opt to heat the pool the week we were there and that worked out great. Overall was a good find and the place worked out for our family.

Great Place
Plenty of room and hot tub was key…House was clean and very well represented in pictures on Airbnb.. The multiple decks for sitting and enjoying the ocean breeze and hearing the waves made our vacation. The area was peaceful and friendly with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the OBX. Fabulous eateries and very close to several shops , arcades, and several companies that run tours to see the mustangs….The OBX is full of fun.

Great vacation house!
Perfect for our multi family getaway. Kids enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. Easy access and short walk to the beach. We loved every minute!

Our father doesn’t disappoint
Very convenient and well maintained house roughly 0.2 mile walk to beach. Loved the poo and hot tub, and the kitchen was well stocked. The dining table was huge, and there was plenty of space for our party. Loved the bedrooms being spread out, and the sleep
Loft really makes this a 6br property. Owners may want to update their beach chairs and basketball, and perhaps add night stands in the bedrooms. Otherwise, thank you Bob-bob for sharing your home with us!!

Wonderful Spot to Get Away or Work Remotely
We felt like we were in our own family-friendly oasis. The pool and hot tub were pristine and perfectly prepared to welcome us. Good internet allowed us to stay connected to work when we wanted to and the outdoor amenities wooed us to take a few extra days off. The location is far enough from the frenzied parts of the Outer Banks, while being close to everything we needed or wanted for a getaway. Each morning we walked to the beach and found spacious sands. We enjoyed that we were close to multiple beach access points so we could stroll over or take a car full of gear for a day in the sun. The outdoor shower let us privately shed the sand from the beach before swimming, soaking, or heading inside.
Forgotten grocery items were a breeze at nearby grocery stores. The kitchen is suitably equipped. We also liked that the kitchen had new, clean appliances. The house was very clean on arrival. The updated floors were gleaming throughout the upper level.
The rental, arrival, and check out processes were a breeze. We received friendly and timely communication throughout. We appreciated that the home is well cared for with professional linen, pool, and cleaning services -- and we made it over the bridge before traffic on departure day thanks to the easy, clear instructions. Beds were comfy and clean. It was a joy to have family meals in the dining room which was also a great spot for remote work. We did not expect, but were delighted to discover, that we had a very good view of the Corolla fireworks on the Fourth of July. Would gladly return again.

Our father home Whalehead
The house is nice but needs some updating. The beds weren’t very comfortable with the exception of the one on the bottom floor the new addition. The outside area pool and hot tub made this house we spent most of our time out there and enjoyed every bit of it the pool was awesome and refreshing. The walk to the beach wasn’t too bad all in all we had a good week at OBX. Only giving it four stars due to updating needing to happen and beds needed to be replaced.

Peace and quiet
Corolla Drive is a very quiet and pleasant residential area. Restaurants and groceries less than 3 miles. Home was more than we needed, but we like extra space. We really hope to return another season. Heated private pool was a fantastic feature! Wished for lamps for reading and end tables for coffee cups, but we worked that out. Thumbs up and 5 stars
