Completely renovated in 2022, SLACK TIDE is situated on a 10-acre lake in a quiet cul de sac in Ocean Sands. This fun beach house is perfect for a single family or several couples looking to get away from it all. Offering 3+ BR/2.5BA there is plenty of room for everyone. Two levels of decks are perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Beach cottage chic and 21st century conveniences make the kitchen a cook’s delight. Dinner on the deck is not to be missed.

SLACK TIDE guests can enjoy the beautiful Ocean Sands community pool located at the south end of the lake. The house backyard is equipped with kayaks and a standup paddle board for exploring the lake. Enjoy all your favorite outdoor games with a bonus room opening to the backyard with a beverage fridge. The first level deck offers a covered area with hot tub overlooking the lake and rocking chairs for relaxing. A quick 3 block walk to the beach, take advantage of a large beach cart and a generous selection of beach toys and chairs.

Located close to all the best Corolla has to offer: TimBuck II, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

GROUND LEVEL: Entry; Den w/Queen Sleep Sofa Access to  Deck.


 

3 BEDROOMS and DEN accommodate 8  in 1 King, 1 Queen, Double/Twin pyramid and Queen Sleep Sofa.   Sheets are provided for all the beds. Bath towel sets are provided for eight. Beds are made for your first night however, the sleep sofa is not made

Everything We Needed
Our family really enjoyed our week at SlackTide!!! It was our home away from home. Everything we needed was there. My husband enjoyed getting to watch football in the downstairs room, which was nice for us, ladies. Lots of stuff at the house for us to use kayak, tennis racket, stand up paddleboard, etc.

The home was decorated beautifully, clean, all amenities as described. The kitchen was very well furnished. Little touches like lovely beach themed decor and a basket with some household supplies to ease our stay added to the enjoyment of our stay. There was small issue of the bath towels not being easy to find, but the owner (through an associate) was incredibly responsive and the issue was resolved quickly. The deck overlooks a small lake/large pond that provides a beautiful view for both your morning coffee and your midnight dip in the hot tub. Overall the house was wonderful and I would stay again and highly recommend to others.

Slack Tide had several unexpected amenities including bikes, kayaks, paddle board, beach chairs, toys, and beach wagon. Not only was the beach a 10 minute walk but the lake provided fishing, paddle boarding or kayaking. The kitchen was fully stocked, the hot tub was relaxing, and TV channels galore! This house met our expectations and more!

this home was beautiful and everything that I needed for a restful vacation. the home had absolutely everything you could need, which was nice. the hot tub was very clean. they left a welcome basket with extra toiletries, etc. 10/10 will recommend this home and will absolutely stay here again. wish I was back there now!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slack Tide! The house is well maintained with a well-stocked kitchen, linens and towels provided, and games/bikes/beach accessories. There is a path around the lake that is great for taking the dog for walks and the beach is an accessible walk. The large decks offer plenty of outdoor space with a nice view across the lake. The hot tub and gas grill are both in great condition. The house is very close to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. I would recommend Leslie's place and stay again for a trip to Corolla.
