Slack Tide is all about calm water, coastal light, and easy Corolla living. The sun-drenched great room feels bright and welcoming, with comfortable spaces for coffee, games, reading, and end-of-day conversations. Large windows and deck access help bring the lakefront setting into the home.

The lake is one of the home's best features. Watch for frogs, turtles, ducks, herons, egrets, and other water birds around the shoreline. Paddle out in the kayaks or on the stand-up paddleboard, enjoy coffee on the deck, or listen to the lake quiet down in the evening from the hot tub.

The beach is about 3 blocks away, or roughly 1,500 feet via the neighborhood lake path. Use the provided beach cart for chairs, toys, and supplies. Ocean Sands lifeguard locations can change by season and staffing, so guests should check current Corolla beach conditions before swimming.

Slack Tide guests also receive access to the Ocean Sands community pool at the south end of the lake, plus tennis and pickleball access. Community amenities are seasonal and subject to HOA rules, weather, maintenance, and operating hours.
The kitchen and dining areas are set up for casual beach-week meals. Grill outside, stock up at Food Lion or Harris Teeter, pick up pizza from Corolla Pizza or Giant Slice, order a seafood boil from Outer Banks Boil Company, or grab sandwiches and wine from Bacchus.

Corolla attractions are close by, including wild horse tours, The Currituck Club golf course, Corolla Adventure Golf, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Whalehead, TimBuck II, Jockey's Ridge, Wright Brothers National Memorial, Manteo, dolphin tours, the aquarium, and The Lost Colony outdoor drama.
